Cofidis' Jesus Herrada emerged victorious from the breakaway on stage 11 of the 2023 Vuelta a Espana, much to the delight of one of his soigneurs.
As Herrada's victory was finally secured and the Spaniard began to bask in his moment of glory, one of his soigneurs over-exuberantly began to jump for joy and celebrate the stage win at the finish line. Despite him being totally decked out in Cofidis gear, race security and Spanish police seemingly thought he was a barrier-jumping supporter with one policeman tackling him out of the way!
