Tour de France renews with it's main sponsor

The Tour de France is one of the most celebrated events in the cycling world. Riders from all over the world compete against each other for 21 days to determine the winner. Being able to show your advertisement at such a big event is a great investment, and due to all these reasons, E.Leclerc has extended its sponsorship until 2028.

“I am delighted with the extension of our agreement with E.Leclerc as the sponsor of the polka dot jersey until 2028,” said Christian Prudhomme, director of the Tour de France. He continues, "The Tour de France has in its genes proximity to its public, and E.Leclerc has been able, in recent years, to win the hearts of the spectators of the Grande Boucle. The courage shown by the champions during the month of July makes this tunic very popular. The polka dot jersey was created in 1975 but the classification of the best climber has existed since 1933, so it will be 90 years in 2023 and I thank E.Leclerc for his loyalty to the Tour de France.”

The director of the Tour de France isn't the only one that is happy. With this deal extension, E.Leclerc will also get to advertise, which will reach millions of viewers. "We knew the common values shared with this great race and with the polka dot jersey: regional anchoring, conviviality, tenacity... but seeing how much they take shape on the ground and through the screens, how much the public welcomes this event and the generosity of our brands - and our teams! -, it's really a great satisfaction. I am happy that E.Leclerc can make a significant contribution to this great celebration of sport and French heritage,” concluded Michel-Edouard Leclerc, President of the E.Leclerc Centers Strategic Committee.
