Thibau Nys wins uphill sprint on Tour of Norway stage 2

The Tour of Norway is packed with stages that suit the puncheurs, and Thibau Nys has taken this opportunity to take his first big win among the pros.

The hilly day saw a dangerous breakaway and an explosive attack from Rasmus Tiller, both moves which threatened the chances of the peloton. A sprint ended up deciding the outcome of the day, in the hilltop finish Thibau Nys launched an explosive sprint which saw him take a comfortable win. Edward Planckaert sprinted to second whilst race leader Ben Tulett finished third.
