Team Medellin - EPM will compete between April 26 and 30 in a new race outside the Colombian borders, this time in the United States. Miguel Ángel López, Óscar Sevilla and the rest of teammates will face the Tour of the Gila.
It is a race that from the first day will have a spectacular finish with the arrival at the Mogollon Climb, a climb of just over 6 kilometers with ramps of 13, 15 and 19%. Not only the men's race, but also the women's race will take place these days at the Tour of the Gila.
Once Miguel Angel Lopez faces this North American race in which he starts as one of the favorites, he will travel to Europe to race the Tour of Hellas in what will be his return to the old continent since he was fired from Astana Qazaqstan Team.
The Colombian climber is currently awaiting a resolution of the UCI that could declare unfair dismissal from Astana, which could facilitate his return to a European WorldTour team.
