Gazzetta dello Sport has previewed
Tadej Pogacar's calendar between now and the end of the season. After winning the Giro d'Italia and the Tour de France, the Slovenian will take a well-deserved rest and will not participate in the Olympic Games. His main objective between now and the end of the year is the
World Championships, although it will not be the only major race that the
UAE Team Emirates rider will compete in before the end of 2024.
Thus,
Pogacar will rest during the August and the first part of September and will return to race the two WorldTour races in Canada as a prelude to Zurich: the GP Quebec (13/9) and the GP Montreal (15/9). The highlight will come on Sunday 29 September with the tough World Championships road race on Swiss soil. Then, almost without a break, he will race the Giro dell'Emilia (5/10) and the Tre Valli Varesine (8/10) before closing his season as usual at
Il Lombardia on October 12. He will attempt his fourth consecutive win at the monument.
FINAL CALENDAR 2024 OF TADEJ POGACAR:

๐จ๐ฆ 15/9 - GP Montreal
๐จ๐ญ 29/9 - Zurich World Champinships (road race)
๐ฎ๐น 5/10 - Giro dell'Emilia
๐ฎ๐น 8/10 - Tre Valli Varesine

2024 UNFORGETTABLE UP TO NOW
So far, Tadej Pogacar's 2024 is absolutely crazy. He started by winning the Strade Bianche and finishing third in Milano-Sanremo (the only race he hasn't won in 2024). He then won the overall and four stages of the Volta a Catalunya before winning Liรจge-Bastogne-Liรจge. Then, after a month's break, he won the Giro d'Italia along with six stages. And, as you all know, he has just done the same in the Tour de France: 6 stages and yellow jersey. Brutal.
