Suspect of Moriah Wilson's murder has trial delayed

Moriah Wilson was killed on the 11th of May this year in her home in Texas, USA. Wilson was one of the most prominent riders in the gravel discipline and her death shocked the cycling world, specially when it was revealed that the main suspect was the partner of another big name in the gravel bubble.

Colin Strickland - another high key figure in gravel - was dating Kaitlin Armstrong, a yoga instructor and real estatate agent, and known figure within the community. The 34-year old is the prime suspect of the murder of the American athlete, and Armstrong fled the country shortly after being interrogated - later being caught in Costa Rica, and brought back into the USA where she is facing trial.

Armstrong was charged with first-degree murder and is currently awaiting the trial to begin. However, her defense team has filed a "motion to suppress evidence that challenges the truth of the information which detectives put forth in their written affidavit" according to Cyclingnews.

Errors have initially been made in the accusation, and that has been used to at the moment, delay the trial and future decisions.
