Filippo Ganna is a true powerhouse, and he has recently improved his sprint significantly. He has won the opening stage of the Tour de Wallonie this afternoon, winning in a bunch sprint.
The hilly day did see a few riders get dropped, but ultimately a sprint. Pim Ronhaar, the final survivor of the breakaway, was caught with 8 kilometers to go and then the sprint was setup. Ganna has outsprinted Davide Ballerini to take a surprising win, Arne Marit finished third.
