BORA - hansgrohe have announced their lineup for the upcoming Tour Down Under. This is the race where Sam Welsford will make his debut for the German team, and the priority will be in him adjusting to his new leadout as the team's main sprinter.
Welsford made the move from Team DSM - Firmenich this winter and, with the departure of Sam Bennett, becomes the team's head sprinter - despite the presence of Jordi Meeus. Bennett's former leadout of Danny van Poppel and Ryan Mullen will be present and it will be an important week for the trio to get used to racing together. Patrick Gamper will also play a role here, alongside new signing Filip Maciejuk.
The team has signed Spanish climber Roger Adrià and he will also be making his debut in the lineup here in Australia, alongside Ben Zwiehoff the duo will be outsiders for the overall classification.
