EF Education-EasyPost will head to the
Critérium du Dauphiné with high hopes of success through their leader
Richard Carapaz and his strong support unit.
With the Ecuadorian national champion recently having won the Mercan'Tour Classic, Carapaz comes into the race high on confidence. Only previously taking part in the Critérium du Dauphiné once previously, Carapaz will be hoping to improve on his 44th placed finish in the general classification six years ago.
Alongside Carapaz will be the experienced Costa Rican,
Andrey Amador,
Esteban Chaves who finished 7th overall at last year's edition of the Dauphine, the British pair of
Owain Doull and
James Shaw, plus 22-year-old Italian Andrea Piccolo and the American
Sean Quinn.
