Alejandro Valverde left professional cycling last December 31. However, his way of life has not changed much since then. He still goes out with his lifelong group in Murcia as he did before. And he is present in the Movistar Team concentrations as one more, showing an enviable form (he is as fine as ever) and, as if that were not enough, wearing his rainbow jersey.
These days the Movistar Team is concentrating in Sierra Nevada and El Bala has not missed the appointment with those who, at least in training, it seems that they are still his teammates. It would be too much to dream that he would come back after leaving at 42 springs. At least we can enjoy him with images like the one we show you below.
