Recently Kasper Asgreen, Mattia Cattaneo, Yves Lampaert and Ilan Van Wilder traveled to USA for Big Sugar gravel race and after that they decided to visit Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl’s partner company Oakley.
The trip was already planned and this is their second time visiting the impressive 30,000 square meter facility in Foothill Ranch, California. The riders took part in demonstration of Oakley’s High Definition Optics, lens technology and impact protection. Then they made their way to Oakley Museum and learnt some history of the company.
They also witnessed the process of how eyewear is made, resin making, lens cutting, product assembly and quality test lab. “It is always a privilege and a pleasure to have our partners from Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl visit us at our global headquarters, here in California. We’re thankful to Yves, Kasper, Mattia, Ilan and the staff for making the trip and look forward to a very prosperous and successful 2023 campaign together,” said John Ohail, Oakley’s Director of Global Performance Sports Marketing.
