The ZLM Tour is scheduled from the 5th to 9th of June this year. This Dutch race has gained popularity as a key preparation event leading up to the Tour de France, offering numerous chances for sprinters to vie for victories before their major objectives. Let's explore its profiles.
The race starts off with a 14-7 kilometer time-trial in Westkapelle. It is a day that can prove crucial for the overall classification - having no sort of climbing, as the rest of the race.
The first set bunch sprint of the race. First of four. Stage 2 starts in Middelburg and finishes in Wissenkerke, 193 of pan-flat roads with a finale just at sea level.
Stage 3 is not too different than the previous days. From Scijndel to Buchten the riders find 178 kilometers where preventing a bunch sprint would be very difficult.
If there is a day to make differences outside of the time-trial, then certainly this is it. Stage 4 is the longest day of the race with 196 kilometers on the menu, but it also features two passages of the 2-kilometer long Hogerwaardpolder cobbled sector. The last one ends with 73 kilometers to go however, before a finale in Roosendaal.

The final stage of the race is not too different than what the previous days have shown. Stage 5 starts and finishes in Oosterhout, finishing with a flat circuit that should lead to a final bunch sprint.
