Profile. On the 2nd of March we'll have plenty racing blowing up the screens in Italy, but Belgium have their own competition on the road. The Grand Prix de Criquielion is an alternative for the classics riders and sprinters to warm-up ahead of the classics season.
The race, as most around Belgium during this period, features a significant amount of cobbled sectors. It's a race where sprinters and classics riders of all sorts can succeed as an initial five lap circuit will warm things up, but the final two-lap loop around Lessines will feature two small ascents and a cobbled sector right before the finish at the end of 202 kilometers.
