PREVIEW | Tour of the Alps 2024 stage 3 - GC to explode in a stage with 4 steep climbs towards the end

From the 15th to the 19th of April we've got the Tour of the Alps on the road. This is the single most important run-up race ahead of the Giro d'Italia and sees five days of racing in the Alps with the mountains always looming in the background. We preview the race ahead.

East of Innsbruck deep into Austrian territory is where the third stage of the race takes place. A short 124-kilometer stage with a brutal combination of climbs towards the end.

The riders face a two-climb circuit twice including ascents of 3.2Km at 9.5% and 3.2Km at 9.9%. In the final lap they end with 13 and 4 kilometers to go before a fast downhill finale into Shwaz. The many steep climbs will certainly make room for attacks and big gaps at the finish line.
