Tadej Pogacar has made his Grand Tour debut back in 2019 at the
Vuelta a Espana where he achieved tremendous success and built on his Tour de France runs. His return however is unlikely to be this summer, the team says.
Daniel Benson of GCN is in France and reportedly has been told by
UAE Team Emirates that Pogacar would not be riding the Vuelta a Espana afterwards. Most likely the Slovenian will ride the World Championships in Glasgow in the first week of August and then focus on his late-season goals as is the case with Il Lombardia.
