Miguel Ángel López gives praise to his teammate in Team Medellín Óscar Sevilla: "It is not superfluous to have a great teacher"

Miguel Ángel López was expelled from Astana after being involved in a doping matter that is currently under judicial investigation and, contrary to what his teammate Nairo Quintana decided, he did decide to sign for a Colombian team to continue competing.

Thus, since the beginning of the year he has been running for Team Medellín - EPM , a group in which he fell on his feet, among other things, due to the support received by veteran Óscar Sevilla , his great support in recent months.

And it is that the 46-year-old Spanish cyclist has been through everything since he began his professional career in 1998 with Kelme-Costa Blanca. In 2001 he came second in the Tour of Spain. In 2006 he was involved in Operation Puerto, which seemed to end his career, but he knew how to recycle himself by leaving for America and for many years he has run in Colombia, where he has been welcomed as just another Colombian.

This year he is acting as a mentor to López and his good vibes can be seen in all kinds of details, such as the fact that Superman supported him to win a stage and the general of the Vuelta Bantrap. Following the social networks of both, they are always seen together during the races and concentrations and in one of his latest Instagram photos, Miguel Ángel López appears with Óscar during the Tour of Formosa and calls him a maestro: "What a luxury Óscar Sevilla, it is not superfluous to have a great maestro."
