Miguel Ángel López is completing a great season with Team Medellín - EPM. In his last test, the Tour de Catamarca, he won the queen stage and the general classification and now his next race has just been confirmed.
The rider from Pesca will race with his colleagues from the Colombian team for another test in Argentina, specifically the Vuelta a Formosa, where he will compete between May 11 and 15. The presence of Óscar Sevilla is also confirmed in this race.
At the beginning of the season, it was expected that López would be competing in Europe at this time, but the cancellation of the Tour of Turkey due to the terrible earthquake that devastated the Ottoman lands meant that it was not economically profitable for Team Medellín to cross the Atlantic just to compete in the Tour of Greece, the other test they planned to run. It is still expected that before the end of the season, they will be able to run a race on European territory.
