Medical Report and withdrawals Paris - Nice 2025 | Update stage 6 - Jonas Vingegaard abandoned the race after crash

Throughout the 2025 Paris-Nice, there will be many riders to withdraw from the race, for several different reasons. We make a list of all riders who leave the race, as well as list out a few of the main crashes that take place during the race.
Stage 1
On stage 1 there was no rider abandoning the race, but that did not mean that everyone got away unscathed. In an early crash on the day three INEOS Grenadiers riders went down: Joshua Tarling, Magnus Sheffield and Samuel Watson - together with Ryan Gibbons. At a latter part of the day.
Stage 2
Kasper Asgreen fell ill overnight and didn't start the stage. During the day there were plenty crashes. In a first mass crash Arnaud Démare, Julien Bernard, Samuel Leroux and Florian Sénéchal were victims of falls - the latter was forced to abandon.
Later on a crash at the intermediate sprint saw both Luke Durbridge and Gorka Sorarrain abandon with suspected collarbone fractures. The likes of Warren Barguil and Guillaume Martin also went down during the day; whilst Danny van Poppel abandoned during the day.
Stage 3
Florian Senechal of Arkea - B&B Hotels was sent to hospital with a suspected fractured clavicle.
Stage 4
Julien Bernard and Amund Jansen did not take to the start of the stage. Santiago Buitrago punctured and then whilst coming back to the peloton crashed, abandoning the race with a hand injury. Steff Cras and Sam Maisonobe also abandoned during the stage.
Stage 5
The biggest news of the day was Jonas Vingegaard's crash during the day which led to him sustaining injuries in his hand and also face - where it was possible to see a cut up lip. More news will be known soon regarding his health status.
Fabio Jakobsen, Ryan Gibbons, Sylvain Moniquet and Samuel Leroux abandoned during today's stage.
Stage 6
Jonas Vingegaard did not suffer fractures, but the Danish rider did not start the stage as a precaution. He was the only rider to abandon the race today.
