Last year's winner
Matej Mohoric has confirmed he will once again use a dropper seatpost as he aims to repeat his stunning
Milano-Sanremo success from twelve months ago.
Mohoric's savy use of the dropper seatpost enabled the Bahrain-Victorious rider to drop all his rivals on the famous Poggio descent last year as he rode away from the likes of Wout van Aert, Tadej Pogacar and Mathieu van der Poel to a solo victory.
According to Cyclingnews, one of Mohoric's mechanics has revealed to them that the Slovenian will have "more or less the same set-up" once again this time around with Mohoric himself telling fans to "come to the start in Milan and you will see."
“I’m aware that winning again is a very difficult task but I think that I have good cards in my pocket and honestly a chance to win again," Mohoric says. "This race has a very a wide circle of favorites, many different riders can win, including Tadej Pogačar.”
