Lotto Soudal, to be named Lotto Dstny in 2023, have assured their first signing from an outsider team as Bingoal Pauwels Sauces' Arjen Livyns is finally set to climb onto the World Tour level after several promising years.
The 27-year old is coming in as a need for the Belgian team to resupply it's classics squad, which is loosing at least Tim Wellens to UAE Team Emirates and Philippe Gilbert wo will retire. Livyns is a puncheur suited to the Ardennes, but likely with a bigger focus in the domestic calendar and agressive stage-races.

This current season Livyns is yet to show his best legs, only with a sixth place at the Brussels Cycling Classic to show for. In the past two seasons however he's been in the mix in some cobbled classics, despite his lightweight stature which sees him also excel over the hilly terrain.
