Liane Lippert joins Movistar - "Movistar Team looks like a big family, which is a big reason why I’m looking so much forward to this"

Movistar has decided to sign Liane Lippert to strengthen their women's peloton. She will ride for the team till 2025.

“I’m really excited to join the team for the next three years,” said Lippert. She says the team environment and support were factors for her to make the decision. “I think the environment in the team is really great, and also the way of working and improving riders should help me much.”

She has already secured six bronze, two silver, and one gold this season. She hopes to increase the number next year with the help of her new team. “I’m really happy that the team wants to help me grow stronger in the future, bring me to the next step physically. I’m already on a really high level, but I want to learn, especially from the more experienced riders in the team, to hopefully win races together. From the outside, the Movistar Team looks like a big family, which is a big reason why I’m looking so much forward to this,” concluded Lippert.
