"It is inexplicable" - Richard Plugge critical after Jumbo-Visma logos are covered up on talk show Op1

After his sensational Giro d'Italia victory, Primoz Roglic was invited on to the talk show Op1 on Tuesday, alongside Jumbo-Visma sports director Merijn Zeeman and general manager Richard Plugge. Jumbo-Visma labels however were notably covered up.

“It is inexplicable and remains sad indeed. It is true that the name and logo of Jumbo-Visma - just like the EO and NPO - are brands," Plugge spoke out on Twitter following the interview in response to a Tweet by presenter Maarten Bouwhuis. "We saw countless images in which the names of Jumbo Supermarkets, Visma and Cervélo and the rest were clearly visible."

Indeed whilst the Jumbo-Visma label on Roglic's top had clearly been taped over, the Cavallero logo, the maker of the shirt was strangely uncovered. "Yes, Cavallero looked good on it!' Plugge also commented.
