INEOS reveals 3D-printed bike for Filippo Ganna's Hour Record attempt

Filippo Ganna has had a less good season in 2022 as he was unable to replicate his Grand Tour and World Championship success of past years. However, to finish off his season he will have the Hour Record to make up for it.

The event will take place on the 8th of October, in the hours following Il Lombardia. Ganna will be attemping to beat Dan Bigham's - performance engineer for INEOS Grenadiers - distance of 55.548 kilometers in a hour.

Ganna, a track specialist and world-class time-trialist by any imaginable standard, will attempt to improve the result. The British team have revealed the Pinarello Bolide F HR 3D bike that he will be riding, with the Italian colours but most importantly, with a 3D-printed design.

It is an all-out engineering project to ensure the former World Champion is as well equipped as possible for the event, in which there will be a lot of pressure to perform after a rough set of months.
