"I now know what works and doesn't work for me," the 30-year-old Frenchman tells L'Equipe in an open and honest interview, as he looks to continue competing at the top level over the next few years. "I'm no longer going to evaluate everything every winter."
"If everything is on the same page, I can occasionally compete with the best and I think that is very nice," the
Cofidis leader concludes. "I am a consistent rider. I don't lose time in one stage and then have to save so much energy the next day to win the stage. But I like to choose days, so I will be able to drop the rankings."
