Gianni Moscon to target Giro d'Italia in 2023: "That's always an important goal"

Gianni Moscon's health has been a concern for him, but thankfully it is better now, and he is ready to prepare for the next season. His main goal for next season will be Giro d'Italia.

"Feeling good is the most important thing in our sport,” said Moscon. He continues, “I feel good again now, and that is very nice. My body is responding well to training stimuli again, and I can also load it again. I am looking forward to the upcoming season. This year I was not myself; now, finally, everything is back to normal."

In October, Moscon completed his season with Tour de Langkawi. His preparation for the next season has already begun, and he can get his season started early with the Tour Down Under. He is also expected to take part in Strade Bianche, Paris-Roubaix and the Ardennes classics. However, he remains primarily focused on Giro d'Italia. "I want to participate in the Giro again next year. That's always an important goal for an Italian cyclist," Moscon told TGR Trentino.
