🚨 Not signed yet but Geraint Thomas is on the cusp of extending his contract with Ineos Grenadiers for a further two years 🏴🇬🇧 @GcnRacing
While some still doubted him, Geraint Thomas proved again this season, especially on the Giro d'Italia, that he was capable of achieving great things. Despite his the age not playing in his favour, the Welshman has long been in a position to win the Italian grand tour, notably wearing the pink jersey for eight days, before conceding to Primoz Roglic on the final mountain timetrial.
While nothing is official yet, Daniel Benson, usually well-informed editor-in-chief of GCN, announces that the Welshman should commit for two more years with the Brittish formation of which he has been a part since its foundation in 2010.
