Stage 12 of the Tour de France was another hard day with an immense breakaway fight which saw Vingegaard and Pogacar in action once again, in the end Ion Izagirre was triumphant on the hilly Massif Central day.
The jury has taken the following decisions on stage 12:
Peter Sagan and Mathieu Burgaudeau (TotalEnergies): Relay on the fly (kilometer 5). 500CHF fine, 10 second GC penalty, 6 points penalty on points classification for each rider.
Ruben Guerreiro (Movistar Team): Disposing trash outside designated areas. 500CHF fine and 25 point penalization in UCI rankings.
