UAE Team Emirates ended 2024 with absolute dominance over rival teams in terms of both UCI points earned and victories in a single season. Looking at the UAE team's overwhelming numbers, we can say that the investment made in the squad has exceeded the best expectations in terms of return and that never before has a sponsor seen its name in the world's mouths, not only for the historic feats achieved by Tadej Pogacar, for the way in which they were achieved, but also for the number of athletes involved in those victories.
Analyzing it together with CiclismoAtual, we took a look at the statistics. There were many podiums achieved by the most varied athletes in one-day races, general classifications, mountain, points and youth, but we analyzed the cyclists who achieved victories in stages or races, adding as an extra other jerseys and prizes that they won in the process.
There were 81 victories won by 20 different cyclists over the course of 2024, a mark that allows UAE Team Emirates to climb to 3rd place in overall victories in a single season, adding 54 2nd places and 48 3rd places. That's a total of an incredible 183 podium finishes this season. Pavel Sivakov was by far the athlete with the most race days in his legs, with 82 days of competition.
In terms of UCI team points, and although the ranking always refers to the points earned by the team's best 20 riders over the last 12 months, with the season now entering its off-season, where riders take advantage of the opportunity to take some well-deserved vacation days, the UAE's advantage over its most direct rival, Team Visma | Lease a Bike, is monstrous, with almost double the points advantage in the UCI ranking (UAE's 36.831 to Visma's 20.385) at the last count.

UAE Team Emirates won a total of 13 final General Classifications - including the Giro d'Italia and Tour de France - 18 one-day races - 2 Monuments included - various Mountain, Youth and Points classifications.
Tadej Pogacar, Brandon Mc Nulty, Marc Hirschi (who is leaving the team) were the highlights of a cohesive and very strong team, where this season the youngsters António Morgado, Isaac del Toro and Juan Ayuso deserve to be highlighted, each with their own highlights, wanting to show that the youngsters are already proving their worth and have the capacity to define themselves as cyclists and be able to fight for better results in the coming seasons, while continuing their process of adaptation, integration and development.
At the Giro d'Italia and the Tour de France, the team, through its collective and the greatness of the Slovenian Tadej Pogacar, achieved the Giro-Tour double, dominating the two Grand Tours and achieving one of the goals of the year, the recovery of the Tour de France yellow jersey by Tadej Pogacar, winning six stage victories in each race in the process. At the Vuelta a España, things didn't go according to plan, as João Almeida contracted Covid-19 and had to abandon the race, forcing the team to switch to plan B, race stages and fight for the secondary jerseys.
In part, they managed to clean up the image of the last grand tour of the year, winning a stage for Adam Yates and the Mountain Jersey for Jay Vine. They didn't achieve their main objective, but they were competitive. In the Monuments, Pogacar won Liège-Bastogne-Liège and Il Lombardia, with Milan-Sanremo once again hanging over the cyclist's throat. Tadej Pogacar brought home the rainbow jersey, won at the World Championships in Zurich, for the first time in the history of the United Arab Emirates team.
Below we present the achievements of the cyclists who helped achieve these fabulous numbers, in a season that will forever be remembered in the cycling books. Because it's inevitable that many years from now, for the most diverse reasons, we'll be talking about 2024. It was impressive.
