Floortje Mackaij extend her contract at Movistar through at least 2026

Floortje Mackaij will stay at Movistar a lot longer. The Dutch rider will be with the Spanish team until at least 2026, for which she has been racing since last year.

Mackaij herself is very pleased and happy with the extension. "I have felt at home here from the start. The girls, the staff. Working with the team during and outside the races was very pleasant. Signing up for another three years feels very nice. I want to continue developing myself."

"For me, that means a focus on the early classics in the spring. In the bad weather, I want to be able to ride good finals again, actually I want to go back to how my career started. There are also great goals in the stage races later in the year. With how everyone in this team is doing their best, I think I am in the right place to achieve success," she concludes.
