Jesús Herrada has achieved victory in the Tour du Doubs in a French classic marked by bad weather in which the Cofidis rider was able to overcome his rivals, demonstrating his class.
The Spaniard managed to cross the finish line ahead of a Thibaut Pinot who was left with rueing a missed opportunity. Nans Peters finished third.
