Cofidis rider Eddy Finé out of competition after collision with a car

Cofidis is not having an ideal start to the season. Even more so because the French team already has six riders out of competiton with various health problems. Eddy Finé is the latest to join the list of injured after he was hit by a motorist during training in Australia and broke his left shoulder.

The 26-year-old Finé had already completed the Tour Down Under and the Surf Coast Classic, but was not at the start of the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race. It now appears that the Frenchman was hit during a training ride. For the time being, Finé is sidelined with that shoulder fracture.
