Arnaud Demare wins the 2023 Tour de Vendee as Peter Sagan finishes 9th in final race of his road career

Arnaud Demare has taken the win at the 2023 Tour de Vendee as Peter Sagan's legendary road career was brought to an end.
Sagan was unable to take a farewell victory in the final road race of his professional career as Team Arkea Samsic's French sprinter, Arnaud Demare emerged victorious ahead of Paul Penhoet and Sandy Dujardin with the Slovakian finishing in ninth.

Yes the Vuelta has many stages so it works cumulatively but tgat counts for the WC too! Tvere are more WC races thsn there are stages at a GT.
