- Respect.
- UAE, Visma, Lidl only started pulling like 50km later, can't just neutralize the stage because one of the GC guys crashed. He's not in yellow and not the best placed GC guy
- Well maybe but he aint gonna beat a inform Jonas.
- Kid has a great attitude and character. Confidence (not cockiness) coming into the race and acceptance when things go sideways. Looking forward to seeing him progress and be #1 in the near future.
- Are you being sarcastic? He lost Paris-Roubaix last year largely because he crashed (stupidly - he had no need for speed there) in a corner. The last time Vingegaard beat him in the TdF, he crashed on a descent. I’m sure there are others I’m forgetting. Pretty much everyone in the peloton hits the ground occasionally.
- Pretty nasty crash, glad it wasn't worse. Really a horror crash which was inches away from being tragedy. You could see the seriousness on Matteo's face when he said it. Oscar Onley can consider himself a very lucky fella.
But the feeling of being caught in a tree above a ravine, like Paddington, is not a nice one, and I won't be surprised if he gets dropped on descents at the Tour.
- Ayuso improved significantly from stage 6 to stage 7. From being at the same level as Skjelmose to 53 seconds faster is quite a big jump, even if the climb's steepness is not what Skjelmose enjoys. If he improves more tomorrow he could be even stronger and with a shout of a double victory.
- Bisaux is a little jealous of Seixas... for some time Decathlon had him as their proclaimed heir to Bernard Hinault. Junior World Champion in CX and beaten by only Tibor del Grosso in the U23 Worlds, and with great potential on the road. He's still an exciting talent, which he proved with his Burgos stage win and GC podium last year. But then came Seixas, less than a year younger than him, and took the spot. Now Bisaux is the domestíque.
- He thought he could do Pogacar or Vingegaard like solo performance for a huge win. Unfortunately he’s not in that kind of form. He’s probably overestimated his abilities. There is still another day to show some heroics.
- This kid is awesome. I love the fact that he's not a cry-baby-sally.
