- Are you being sarcastic? He lost Paris-Roubaix last year largely because he crashed (stupidly - he had no need for speed there) in a corner. The last time Vingegaard beat him in the TdF, he crashed on a descent. I’m sure there are others I’m forgetting. - Pretty nasty crash, glad it wasn't worse. Really a horror crash which was inches away from being tragedy. You could see the seriousness on Matteo's face when he said it. Oscar Onley can consider himself a very lucky fella. But the feeling of being caught in a tree above a ravine, like Paddington, is not a nice one, and I won't be surprised if he gets dropped on descents at the Tour.

From being at the same level as Skjelmose to 53 seconds faster is quite a big jump, even if the climb's steepness is not what Skjelmose enjoys. - Bisaux is a little jealous of Seixas... for some time Decathlon had him as their proclaimed heir to Bernard Hinault. Junior World Champion in CX and beaten by only Tibor del Grosso in the U23 Worlds, and with great potential on the road. He's still an exciting talent, which he proved with his Burgos stage win and GC podium last year. But then came Seixas, less than a year younger than him, and took the spot.
