Alpecin-Deceuninck to announce Tour de France lineup via Zwift

With Tour de France team announcements coming thick and fast, Alpecin-Deceuninck have found a novel way of standing out from the crowd.

On Monday June 26th, Alpecin-Deceuninck will reveal their team to take on the Tour de France through a Zwift event. “Participants (fans, partners, as well as journalists) will be able to hear first-hand our eight names for the Tour de France during this event," it has been announced.

"It is the first time that a team presents its line-up on a virtual platform," the announcement continues. "After the announcement, the selected riders can also be asked questions via the chat function. Logically, it is necessary to have a Zwift account."
