Giro d'Italia Donne broadcast issues solved

The Giro d'Italia Donne 2023 will take place. A few days ago, bad news came from Italy. The Italian cycling federation FCI and Starlight, the organizer of the Giro Donne, were at odds for broadcasting rights. Those problems have now seemingly been resolved.

Startlight had previously announced that it could not guarantee the television production. This would be due to financial problems. However, the RAI, the Italian public broadcaster, has found a solution together with the Italian cycling federation.

The Giro Donne will start on June 30 with a prologue in Chianciano. Top riders such as Annemiek van Vleuten, Marianne Vos, Shirin van Anrooij, Juliette Labous and Marta Bastianelli are expected to be at the start of the Giro d'Italia Donne.
