Axel Laurance has signed a contract with
Alpecin-Deceuninck, the development team most specifically. Frenchman found himself without a team after B&B Hotels-KTM was dissolved, but thankfully just before the beginning of the new season, he found a new home for himself. He will ride for the team until 2024.
Initially, he will be part of the development team, then he will join WorldTeam in 2024. "I am very proud of this step," Laurance said. He continues, "I am convinced that I can develop further here and that I will grow - step by step - towards the best version of myself. I have no doubt that this will be a very nice story."
Laurance recorded his first career victory in the fourth stage of the CRO Race. His other notable achievements included silver in the Bretagne Classic-Ouest-France and Tour de Wallonie where he scored bronze.
