"A hat-trick would be nice" - Phenomenal Lorena Wiebes plots complete dominance at RideLondon Classique

In the first stage of RideLondon Classique, Lorena Wiebes struck straight away. The 25-year-old Dutch rider from SD Worx - Protime proved once again to be one of, if not the fastest lady in the women's peloton, winning the bunch sprint in Colchester by several bike lengths.

"I'm happy I managed to finish it in the sprint," she begins the press release. We were in control all day. Femke Markus and Christine Majerus did a great job to keep the breakaway from getting too far away. After that, I was brought in perfectly. So I was not allowed to fail. This was almost the perfect race from us. Whether I will go for three in a row again here in RideLondon? A hat-trick would be nice, yes."
