- "Something is rotten in the post of Belgium. That one may smile and smile and be a villain." Shakespeare (or similar, ahahah).
- He's a rider like Alberto Contador style that only wants GT. I know he can do La Fleche Wallone, San Sebastian and any other classics because he's a diesel motor when it comes to climbs.
- It would be fantastic to see another Wout vs. Mathieu battle at the World Championships, but given his current form and recent performances, it's hard to imagine anyone even coming close to challenging Mathieu this year.
- "Not a climber" !!!!!! One of the hardest climbs of the year is "Jebal Hafeet" and she crushed the field last year. Not the best but can hold her own against most and as we know anything can happen in the Tour.
- MVDP hardly ever has bad luck (like punctures etc.). More often unfortunately 'bad luck' in his case are stupid mistakes he does.
- No Kopecky isn't a climber
- No , he cant unless bad luck happens to MVDP.
- Ha, that's pretty good. Although he really has no future as president, we're not letting Trump leave until he's 90 lol
- Well, depends how you define unlucky, is it just one thing, repeating situations, not winning, crashing or facts of life?
Bar repeat crashers like Kruiswijk, Gesink, Rogliç, etc. or those made to fall by others, I would say the unluckiest of all is Mrs Dennis (think she was a pro), but the most incredible is Eugene Christophe, everyone should know about this guy, puts todays pros in the shade.
I think he even has an article dedicated to him as the most unlucky rider ever.
- The idea is good but it would hardly succeed seeing as neither is known to a public large enough to attract the critical mass needed to make the show last. If you would start it off with Musk vs Zuck or Trump vs just about anyone you’d have enough to finance all the niche spin-offs including for the cycling world though there you’d have to take care with events like arm-wrestling, at one extreme you’d have candidates ending upwith broken arms, at the other, viewers might start calling in wondering why the screen had frozen ;-)
