Wout van Aert has won the CX Dublin World Cup. He created a gap in the final lap and secured his first victory of the season.
Lars van der Haar had a nice start. Soon Eli Iserbyt was in the lead. Wout van Aert crashed at the start of the second lap. Tom Pidcock was allowed to join the leading group after a bad start. Jens Adams was unable to take victory in CX Essen yesterday, and he was trying his best today to compensate for that.
Wout van Aert created a small gap at the start of the sixth lap. Laurens Sweeck followed him while others were struggling to keep up with the Dutchman. Van Aert crossed the finish line first and celebrated his first victory of the season. Laurens Sweeck took silver. Tom Pidcock finished third.
