Mathieu van der Poel to race Val di Sole World Cup, snow race to feature Fem van Empel and Puck Pieterse

The KNWU has announced the riders for the Val Di Sole World Cup. Mathieu van der Poel will lead the men, while Fem van Empel will be attempting to add to her already impressive list of victories.

In Val di Sole, Mathieu van der Poel will compete in his third World Cup race after missing the Dublin World Cup. It is worth noting that he has won both the World cup races he participated in. His fight with Wout van Aert, who just won in Dublin, will be worth watching. Lars van der Haar will skip the race this weekend to concentrate on his training camp. The squad is completed by Pim Ronhaar, Corné van Kessel, and Stan Godrie.

Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado is back to race in Val Di Sole. Fem van Empel and Puck Pieterse are dominating the field and ranking likewise, Van Empel already has seven World cup victories to her name, with the latest being in Dublin. Puck Pieterse currently has two World Cup victories to her name. Manon Bakker completes the squad.
