The European champion finished the Superprestige cup the same way she started it, having only missed Ruddervorde, winning all other rounds.
A pile-up at the start was far from ideal and very early on the race Annemarie Worst and Lucinda Brand got a gap over the field, but with only five minutes of racing and within the first lap Brand went solo off the front and was never again caught, as she traditionally does.
It wasn't a surprising result, Annemarie Worst managed to ride in Denise Betsema's wheel throughout most of the race and then strike on the final lap to finish a strong runner-up spot thirty five seconds behind.
