Iserbyt gained the lead in the sixth lap and continued to push himself to the front and by the last lap he had enough lead to make the difference."I did need a whole lap to make the difference. It's a tough course for me, but I'm glad it worked out. This feels really good. This was a bit of my 'heavy beast' anyway and it's nice that I did win here now," Iserbyt shares.
The European Championship in Namur is Iserbyt's main focus right now, he will also compete in the fourth World Cup later this week in Maasmechelen. "I'm already looking forward to next weekend. In the next three cyclo-crosses it is mainly saving strength towards the
European Championships. I want to be as fresh as possible at the start there," concluded Iserbyt.
