The Volta a Catalunya will be taking place from the 20th to the 27th of March in 2023 and the race organizers have revealed which locations will host the starts and finished of the race.
Although details are yet to be confirmed, the organizers of the Catalan race have already revealed where the seven stages will begin and finish. The race will mostly be marked by it's mountainous nature, this year including three summit finishes where the general classification will be played out. The traditional finales at Vallter 2000 and La Molina will be the finales of stages 2 and three, before a start with a loop around Sant Feliu de Guíxols.
The fourth stage will end in Sabadell. The fifth day of racing however will end at Lo Port, an ascent last used in 2017 where Alejandro Valverde beat Chris Froome and Alberto Contador to the stage win, which he used to build on his overall win. The race will then head into Molins de Rei for the finale of the sixth stage, with the final day of competition being the traditional Barcelona circuit which will feature several ascents of the Alto de Montjuic hilltop.
