"If I had been involved from the start, more might have been possible. But I just couldn't follow at the beginning. Then it's time to think about it," laughed Iserbyt, who then said that the course was very slippery. "But hey, you take as much risk as you want. I didn't take too many risks. It was a very nice race, super difficult. I think they got a good fight up front, so it was a successful day."
Iserbyt indicated that he wants to win at least one cross if he rides two in a weekend. "I do indeed put some pressure on myself, but hey, I sometimes perform reasonably well under pressure. So yes, the
World Cup was a slightly bigger goal this weekend, because the points count ensures that a first place there is super important. I'm looking forward to tomorrow. It is a course tailored to my needs, so I am curious. I have a hotel five hours from here, so normally the journey should still be doable."
