Things looked good for
Pim Ronhaar for a long time in the Namur
World Cup, but after a battle the Dutchman from Baloise Trek Lions finally had to admit his superiority in
Tom Pidcock. Ronhaar ultimately crossed the finish line in second place, but was very satisfied with his performance afterwards.
"After a training camp in Mallorca, the question is always whether you are good enough to participate, but I immediately felt good," Ronhaar looked back on his cross afterwards. "In the first lap, Joris and I kept a nice pace. I felt like I was a little better. So I had to go for it, also because Tom was approaching."
