This weekend has seen quite some history within cyclocross being made, although it was under the radar. This World Cup race in Namur for example was the first time in 10 years that a male Belgian rider did not finish in the podium of a World Cup race.
Although Eli Iserbyt and Michael Vanthourenhout came right after, the Top3 did not feature a Belgian rider; instead Great Britain's Tom Pidcock and the Netherlands' Pim Ronhaar and Joris Nieuwenhuis. Although it may sound far fetched, it is the first time in 10 years that a Belgian rider had not finished in the podium of a men's World Cup. The last time was in Heusden-Zolder 2013 with the Netherlands' Lars van der Haar, and the Czech Republic's Martin Bina and Zdenek Stybar.
The day prior, on Saturday's Herentals race, it was the first time in 10 years that a top race (of either World Cup, Superprestige or X2O Badkamers) had not featured a male Belgian rider. However that race was the first in the X2O Badkamer's entire history not to feature a Belgian on the podium, in the cup's 23 years of existence. On this day it was Mathieu van der Poel, Tom Pidcock and Lars van der Haar who rounded up the first three.

❌ 🇧🇪 No rider from Belgium on the podium this weekend. Not in the X2O Herentals and not in UCI World Cup in Namur. Last time in the UCI World Cup: - 🇧🇪 Heusden-Zolder 2013 (vd Haar, Bina, Stybar) Last time in the X2O Trofee: - First time ever.
