Célia Gery wins women's junior Cyclocross World Championships; Britain's Cat Ferguson settles with second place

This Saturday began with the women's junior event at the Cyclocross World Championships. Célia Gery of France has won the race with a small margin over Cat Ferguson.

18-year old Gery was the winner of the junior World Cup, alongside three of the six races. She was the main favourite for victory and confirmed it. Cat Ferguson rode to second place five seconds behind, whilst Slovakia's Viktória Chladonová finished third.
