This Saturday will be headlined by the women's cyclocross World Championships. Among the contenders is Puck Pieterse who's had a very strong season, and as usual the Dutch talent has taken a close look into the course in Tabor that the riders will tacke.
Very windy in Tabor this weekend with low temperatures and grey skies, but the rain will not fall. Rain has fallen this week however and the track does not allow for much draining, so we have got a rather heavy grass course with some ruts well present. Not too different from the Europeans in Pontchâteau, but harder. It is a circuit marked by the seated climbs, there will be several and they will be brutal.
In the video from the Dutch rider it is possible to see with great detail the conditions that the riders will find throughout the weekend in the events. It is a track that has become quite difficult to navigate, and can create big gaps from quite early on.
Not one for big tactics as Benidorm and Hoogerheide have for the past few weeks, but instead one of technique and resistance. We've got two stair sections, a difficult uphill planks sector and a few tricky banks.
