"When do you retire?" - Ben Healy asks Tadej Pogacar the question entire peloton wants to know after Liege-Bastogne-Liege 2025

Tadej Pogacar was once again head and shoulders above all other contenders at Liege-Bastogne-Liege 2025 soloing to a dominant win on Sunday afternoon in the Ardennes. Behind the UAE Team Emirates - XRG leader, Ben Healy was involved in the battle for the podium, eventually coming home in 3rd place at the finish line.
As they prepared for the podium ceremony afterwards in the tent however, Healy and Pogacar reunited with the Irish star of the EF Education-EasyPost star asking Pogacar a question that surely the entire peloton wants to find the answer to: "When do you retire?" Healy questions the world champion as he embraces him for a hug.
Without missing a beat, Pogacar responds brilliantly: "I have a contract until 2030. That's the year maybe," bringing both himself and Healy to laughter as they collapsed into the chair for some well-deserved rest.

- Hey, all great and deserving of respect but let’s not look at things too pinkly. He’s only just above Marc Hirschi in the UCI rankings. He’s had the potential to do this for the last 7-8 years, it’s just all come together at once, having his moment. Maybe he went on a secret HA camp :-) Seriously though, he’s NEVER said he doesn’t believe in it (challenge: find me that quote), he said he hates it in words that would get an F1 driver punished, and for the same reasons that his fellow countryman Jonas gets crucified for, being away from family (though given team budgets, there is an obvious solution to that). Healy and Ciccone are the best of the rest they deserve it in the podium. LTK are the strongest teams with Pogi's UAD.
