The unstoppable Tadej Pogacar continues to ruthlessly dominate the 2024 Giro d'Italia. Not for the first time at this Grand Tour however, the UAE Team Emirates has again spared time to show his class as a human being also.

So considerable was Pogacar's advantage following another brutal attack on the Monte Grappa that left all his rivals in his wake, and so in control was the UAE Team Emirates leader, that he even managed to make the day of a young fan. Taking a bottle from a soigneur, Pogacar immediately pulled over to a young boy in an Astana coat and handed the bottle straight to him without even taking a sip.
